• Andrews Park Improvements OSLAD Grant Survey

  • The Rockford Park District is applying for an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to invest in Andrews Park. If the Rockford Park District receives this grant, the funds would be used to add new, community-requested amenities and rebuild the existing playground, which is ready for replacement.

    Neighborhood parks play a vital role in the health and well-being of our community, and enhancing them continues to be one of the Rockford Park District’s highest priorities, as voiced by the citizens we serve. Community feedback helps guide our park planning and ensures we are focusing on improvements that are most important to the neighborhood and those who use Andrews Park.

    We want your feedback! To guide playground renovations and consider possible additional amenities, we’d like to hear your ideas. This project is about creating an even better experience for everyone and ensuring that all residents have access to safe, high-quality recreation spaces.
