  • We Need Your Feedback for Bloom Park!

  • The Rockford Park District and the Rockford School District are collaborating to update specific recreational resources within Bloom Park.  Together, we want to invest over $525,000 in your park.

As part of the Rockford Park District’s comprehensive playground plan and ongoing community-driven priorities to invest in neighborhood parks, Kevin Erwin Memorial Playground at Bloom Park is past its useful 15-to-20-year lifecycle, and a new playground is needed.  Where a new playground goes within the park and what additional recreational resources are added is all up to you.

Below are three options for Bloom Park, along with what’s included in each. Please note that baseball and soccer opportunities will remain as is.  Please choose which one you like best!

Online voting will take place from now through August 18, 2025. Questions?? Contact Laura Gibbs-Green, Communications Manager at 815-298-5496 or lauragibbsgreen@rockfordparkdistict.org
